"My Honor Society Concert Experience"

So I noticed in my last blog, I really just described the four amazing girls that I met in Tulsa. But I briefly only mention the "greet & meet" with Honor Society. I really wanted to take some time to write my honest opinion about "the gentlemen" themselves and the experience I had. I'm pretty sure you always hear that they're true gentlemen, but that's the sincere truth.

When I first heard that Honor Society was coming to Oklahoma for their "Fashionably Late Tour" I was dying to go because I knew it would be the concert you don't want to miss. So after I purchased my tickets I tried extremely hard to get everyone I knew to come to the concert and show these men all of our support. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful at convincing my friends because most of them are either in school or they just don't like their music.

So I told myself even if the crowd isn't that big or we don't sell out The Marquee, I was still going to have an awesome time with my brother and rock out to every song. Our original plan was to go to The Marquee and wait outside as long as possible just to meet the gents. As the weeks got closer and closer to the concert the more anxious/nervous I got. I was a tad surprise at myself for being nervous, I mean, their just four good looking men who our livin' their dream through music. So when I heard about the possibility of them going to K-Hits, I immediately mapquested from my house to K-Hits just in case. The night before the show, I couldn't sit still or go to sleep because I knew I had a big day ahead of me.

As the morning came and we were heading to Tulsa I started thinking to myself, "What happens if I can't say anything to them?", or "I trip and fall flat on my face?".

I tried to not think about it too much so I turned on my CD player and Honor Society's "Where Are You Now?" started playing. Now you all know that most of their songs are about love, but I know everyone has had a broken heart once or twice in their life. But for me, I was going through finding out who my true friends are and really just not caring about all the haters. After an 1 hour 43 minutes later, we arrived at the radio station and that's were I met Brittany, Sam, Tiffani and Jenn. It was a pretty nice day, but still alittle chilly and rainy since we had to wait outside. But about an hour past and several "that's what she said jokes" later, "the gentlemen" finally arrived!

It was funny because everyone was quiet when the gents started walking towards us. Now they couldn't stay long down stairs because they were "FASHIONABLY LATE" as usual, but they did say they would come back down and sign autographs, take pictures, etc. So we're waiting another 30 minutes and Honor Society come back down to talked to everyone and not only did they sign my CD, but I got a chance to take a picture with them as well.

Now that the hard part was done, it's off to the venue. We got to The Marquee about 5:05pm. We were told that the doors open at 6 and the show starts at 7. Knowing our luck, the doors open at 7 and the show starts a 7:30. Yep, that's right we still had another hour and a half to go before we could even get inside. Now all day, it rained off and on lightly. But mother nature had it her way and it poured down on us outside. Lucky the girls had umbrella's with them, but we were all still drench with rain. We did, however, make umbrella cities and bonded together to try to stay warm and not get wet more then we already were. Finally, the doors opened and it was show time. My brother went to get a good spot while I was buying merch. After I got our shirts, we also got meet & greet passes too. I was extremely happy that I got to meet them again, but the only down fall was that I was soaking wet from being outside.

Once, Esmee finished on stage they announced that Honor Society appreciated us fans for toughing it out in the pouring rain. They bought us Hot Chocolate from Starbucks. The entire crowd said "Awe!" Now it's 8:33pm and Honor Society hits the stage. They rocked out to every song, pointing to people in the crowd, hang hugs were a hit that night and I recorded some sick videos with the band acknowledging us, particularly, Michael...Thanks Mr. Bruno for that. About 10:35pm the concert ended, but they went to go freshen up for the "greet & meet" and when they walked out they said, "No matter if you have a meet & greet pass or not. We want to meet ALL of you."

We're waiting in line and it's my brother's (Trey) turn to take a group picture, but my camera is lame and you can't put the flash on sometimes so Andrew offered to help fix my camera. As Andy is messing with the camera, Trey was talking with Jason, Alex was in La La Land by just standing there and then Michael stepped out in front of me rockin' to a song playing over the speakers. Finally, the camera started working and Trey got his picture done. Now it was my turn, I gave all the gents hugs, but for some reason Michael's hug was the longest. NO JOKE!

We took the picture and Michael said "I saw you rocking from the stage" I replied,"Yeah, I had to represent for Oklahoma". He smiled and said, "Well, you did that and more".

So all in all I had a blast! I really wish I could relive Thursday over and over. But I know that there will be another time when I'll get to see them. Hopefully, after this blog they'll see that we all truly miss them and we wanted to show them how much we appreciate what they do for us fans. We're blessed to have a chance to share an opportunity like this.

Describing the Gentlemen of Honor Society:

Michael - Super nice, always smiling and felt bad that Trey might not be able to get a picture.

Jason - Rocked 'RayBans' on stage, very pleasant and wore a red Oklahoma tee during the meet & greet!.

Andrew - Very funny, said they always bring the awesome weather with them (sarcassicly because it was raining) and tried the fix my camera while waiting in line..

Alex - A tad quiet, rocked a 'Led Zeppelin' shirt, and didn't understand Jenn's t-shirt..

(NOTE: But ALL of them gave awesome hugs and are seriously the coolest people I ever met!).

COME BACK SOON!

Love~
