GOING all the way...

...but not like that!!! Get your dirty mind out of the gutter!! lol that was a LAME excuse of trying to be like Sam and use my ridiculous last name as a joke. It's better than what I usually get..."Where you going Going?" or "How's it going Going?" OH! or my personal favorite... "GOING GOING GONE!" ha ha ha...sooooo NOT funny!

Anyway...enough boring details on my last name. I just realized that most of my other girls have told their DUH-mazing concert tales, but I haven't posted mine yet. In order to have a good story you need 4 things: a girl, a guy, a quest/adventure, and a villain. Well my story has 5 girls, 4 guys, an AWESOME adventure oh...and annoying radio DJ. JK! love you Mikey B!!

It's Wednesday October 7. I got up early to finish packing for Sam's & then went to class. Have you ever been somewhere, doing something & you have something soooooooooo much more exciting that you would rather be doing and time just moves so dang SLOW?! yeah...that's how class felt all day. All I remember learning is that my art teacher spent 30 minutes talking about some picture from the Great Depression. She FINALLY dismissed class. Got in my waiting limo...errr...stepdad's truck & was off to find some food & then be on my way to CONWAY...well actually Searcy since that's where we were meeting Sam. Gas & Sonic and we're out of town. Somewhere between Walnut Ridge & Newport (northeast Arkansas, if you're not familiar you should be!! only the best part of the state EVER! lol) I put in Fashionably Late and explained everything Honor Society to my stepdad. I was beyond shocked when he turned up "Rock With You." People don't usually turn up my music, usually they're SCREAMING at me to turn it down. :P

So...blast to the past for a minute? You're probably wondering how a girl from the Northeast corner of Arkansas became friends with someone who lives in the middle of the state. Long story short...thanks to the Jonas Brothers and that wonderful site FFE (that I'm pretty sure was a giant FAIL!) I met a fellow college student on the small-ish University of Central Arkansas campus who shared my passion for all things Jonas or music in general. This girl immediately invited me into her group of Jonas loving friends, inviting me to 3D movie premiers & concerts. So Sam, thanks for everything! If it weren't for her, well, I wouldn't know this group of wonderful girls and be having all kinds of crazy adventures with them.

OK! back to the present..well present past?? idk...this is kinda getting confusing...BACK TO THE STORY! there we go!!

So, in the car with my stepdad, listening to Honor Society. get to Searcy. Met Sam & friend at IHOP. Drive with Sam & friend back to Conway. Hang out at Sam's uncle's house for a bit. Go pick up Tiffani (with an "I"...this is important later so pay attention now!) from the Wal-Mart parking lot. go back to Sam's for a bit. I think we played a bunch of random songs from Sam's itunes and got really pumped in general for Tulsa the next day. Around 11:30/12 that night, Sam's other friend (she's got A LOT of them! :D) calls & we go get the GPS, named Betty, from her. Since we're already in the Wal-Mart parking lot, we go ahead and pick up some car chalk. So at 12 in the morning Tiffani & I are outside chalking Sam's car while Sam is inside working on mid-terms or something like that. It looked pretty good by the time we got done.

After we get done chalking the car, we head back in the house. Sam's on Twitter & talking to one of her friends that I think runs the Oklahoma street team? I'm not 100% sure...it was late, and the details are kinda fuzzy. Anyway..this girl is trying to get everyone to call in to the radio station there in Tulsa and request "Over You." I decided to call in and see if I could actually get through because I've never been able to before. I call once...busy. I call twice...still busy. I think it was like the 3rd or 4th time I called that someone answered. I get really excited and ask if they can play Honor Society's "Over You." The DJ then tells me that I have the "hickest accent he has ever heard" and asked where I was from. I told him Arkansas & that me and some friends were driving all the way to Tulsa tomorrow for the show. He then asks me if we "do our cousins." I IMMEDIATELY told him no & Sam yells into the receiver that we "wear shoes & [she] has all her teeth" the DJ laughed at us, but played our song. A few minutes later I find out that I wasn't just talking to the DJ...that conversation went out to the ENTIRE K-HITS listening audience at 1 that morning....lovely.....

So....Thursday morning...after we've all been up like all night....Sam gets up early because she has to go take a test or just go to class in general..I don't remember...Tiffani & I get up and start getting ready to leave. Now...it's about a 4 hour drive from Conway, AR to Tulsa, OK...so we were in for a bit of a drive. Made a pretty BA mix CD for the ride. It had rained ALL NIGHT! so we had to go out and re chalk Sam's car. Get in, program Betty to the radio station and we're OFF!

We had been watching the weather all week & we knew that there was a good possibility that it would thunderstorm all afternoon in Tulsa, but as we were leaving Arkansas we had nothing but sunshine, which gave me hope that the weather man had been wrong. Sadly, he wasn't. I think we hit the first bit of rain just inside Oklahoma, but it didn't get too bad. Got to Tulsa, grabbed some Micky D's since we were STARVING! Found K-HITS after what seemed like forever. We were drove around the building, parked, and then walked around, trying to figure out which entrance the gentlemen would use. After asking this lady, who told us which floor the radio station was on, we figured we would just stand by the doors we found and if we needed to move we would. Sam decides to move the car to the front of the building. As we're all getting out of the car, this girl (here after known as Brittany) and her friend come over and just start talking to us. We stood there talking about Jonas, the world tour and of course HONOR SOCIETY!!

Met Mikey B..the DJ that was going to interview the guys once they got there. He asked everyone where they were from. Find out that he's the DJ that harassed me on the phone the night before!!! Sam shows him her shoes & smiles, proving the fact that she has all her teeth. I pretended to hate him, but how could ANYONE hate someone as awesome as Mikey B?! I can't wait to go back in December and harass him some more. lol

We got to talking about twitter & were getting each other's screen names, when (Blond) Tiffany & I realized that I had been following her for AGES and we had actually talked about the show a few times leading up to it. After deciding that I was a Twitter Whore, Brittany was "just a whore", too many "that's what she said" jokes to count, and mine & sam's luge contest the gentlemen FINALLY showed up. They're running a little late, but that doesn't stop them from giving a few hugs and signing CDs.

Tried showing Alex the shirt I made for him...

tried explaining the "stix"/drum stick thing...he didn't get it. As their walking in the building, Sam yanks open the door and screams "it's suppose to be dirty take it that way!" I totally missed the look on Alex's face, i was sooo embarrassed, but they all laughed so apparently it was priceless. dang my luck!

When they were done with the interview the guys took a few minutes to take pictures and talk with fans. got my CD signed by the rest of the guys and then took some pictures. I had to wait FOREVER to get one with Jay because apparently the girl he was talking to had some AMAZING sparkly fingernail polish. While waiting for that picture I missed some epic camera dropping & ninja skills with Alex & Sam. :( so...girl with sparkly fingernail polish, if we ever meet again, don't expect me to be your BFF because I missed awesomeness with my favorite gentleman because Jay was OBSESSED with your finger nails.

As we're all getting ready to leave the radio station it starts POURING rain! stop at QT before heading over to the venue so Sam & Tiffani can get Rooster Boosters...whatever those are...I got a frozen coke. Betty gets us lost in Downtown Tulsa in this flood...not cool. FINALLY get to The Marquee & find a parking space. It's like 5 & the show's not until 7:30...doors open at 7... In the mass of umbrellas we find (Blond) Tiffany & her brother who we gave the "Best Brother" award to for standing in the rain all day with her. met a few other girls who we made umbrella cities with. Sang Pearple Rain & a few other songs while beating on the doors to be let in out of the rain. Could hear the guys sound checking, sang along to that. Brittany showed up for a little bit then left for some school thing. Boo you whore! lol JK Love ya!

So...after 2 long hours in the cold, hard rain we FINALLY get inside. Sam & I are both FREEZING so we spend WAAAAAAY too much money on the hoodies at the merch table, but we still got our greet & meet passes. Tiffani goes back to the car to change into her Hannah Montana PJ pants...you think I'm kidding...

To make up for us having to stand in the rain, the gentlemen had gotten Starbucks hot chocolate, but it was gone by the time we even thought about going to get any. :(

We ended up pretty close to the stage. I was right in front of Jay's mic stand & would have been on the stage, but I value my life too much to have fought the girl who was waving her arms so much that I thought she was going to take off my head at times. Sam used the dry erase board I brought with me to write messages to Mike throughout the show. He laughed, smiled, & pointed at us for that more times than I can count. (FYI: if I see you at a show with a marker board, I might laugh uncontrollably...my girls start the best trends!) got a high 5 from alex as he was walking over for the "sermon" part of the show...Mike's speech right before "Don't Close the Book." At the end of the show, Jay throws his guitar pick off the stage and it hits me in the eye!! I dive to the ground and start looking for it with the light from my camera. Sam helps with her phone & I found it!!! :D

Chillin after the show, waiting for the greet & meet to start. searching the floor for more picks & found one of Andy's bass picks!! :D guys come out and said it didn't matter if you had a meet & greet pass they wanted to meet everyone. Here's the thing with the M&G...there were 2 different colored arm band...green & orange. green meant that you got a picture m&g while orange (which is what we all had) meant you just got some hugs, a few seconds to talk, and have them sign something. EVERYONE there that night got a M&G picture

I gave the guys all extra big hugs & told them how much I loved the show. Got my picture. As I was going back to get my stuff, I stopped in front of Mike....heart racing I told those 4 gentlemen that their music changed my life & helped me pick my college major. Mike looked kinda curious & asked what my major was. I told him Public Relations & music management...his and Andy's eyes got sooo big. they had like this shocked/amazed/awed look on their face. Mike said thank you in the most sincere way I think I've ever heard the phrase used.

Serious moment over...Sam & Tiffani got their pics....I talked to Brittany, hugged her & told her how awesome it was to meet her. walked by Alex on the way out the door. yelled "Alex! Hand Hug!"...maybe because a hand hug might as well be holding hands???? oops??? lol met Esmee Denters (the opening act) on the way out.

Car, gas station, ride home where I tried to sleep in the back seat, but was constantly woken up by Sam & Tiffani's loud rap that was trying to keep Sam awake. I would constantly wake up singing the most random songs and then fall back asleep. Dropped Tiffani off at her truck in the Wal-Mart parking lot. get back to Sam's at like 3...maybe it was 4 Friday morning...I don't think we fell asleep until like 6. laid in bed all day looking at pictures & texting (Blond) Tiffany.

went home & have been living on concert high ever since. I can't wait for December when we get to see Push Play & that adorable Justin Bieber.

So...this has reached major NOVEL length, and if you read that entire thing instead of just scrolling though & looking at the pictures (because that's what I would have done) CONGRATS!! You're awesome!! lol

Follow/Comment/Subscribe because you know you want to stalk all of our adventures.

Through the eyes of a Mann...

Get it? Since my last name is Mann?! LAME JOKE. Anyways I would like to start the story off on August 15, 1989... the day I was born! ....... WAIT! Too far back??? Lets try again... The date was October 8, 2009. After a long night of homework and studying for midterms, I hadn't gotten much sleep. It was a very blah day outside and 6 AM came WAY TOOOO EARLY! After going to school for a test, I walked the mile and a half across UCA campus back to my car, then picked Jenn and Tiff up at my house, and we were off to Tulsa! (if you have never driven from Conway Arkansas to Tulsa Oklahoma, it is a trip I would NOT suggest! Its not that its the longest trip ever, since its only about 4 hours long, but there is NOTHING to see! its all fields and, as my dad would say, "those damn weird indian trees.")

This is where the trip gets interesting...

Hour 1: We are in the car... Jenn called shotgun on the way there... We are listening to a mix cd made just minutes before takeoff. Music ranging from Jay-Z (HOV! PUT CHA DIAMONDS UP!!!) to Fergie, to The Lonely Island. LIKE A BOSS! It was a little cloudy out, but still no rain, YET, but we were expecting it at any time.

Hour 2: We moved on to a more sophisticated music selection consisting of High School Musical and the Dixie Chicks. This is where the jamming REALLY began. Almost out of arkansas, almost halfway there.

Hour 3: I begin to wonder if everyone in Oklahoma either bails hay, or owns a casino for a living. Waiting to see the sign for Tallequah Oklahoma so we can make funny jokes about it being some chicks name... i might have said something about her having a sister named Cornbreadisha but I'm not sure, things were getting a little blurry at this point.

Hour 4: We make it to Tulsa! I forgot how confusing it was once we got into the city and was a little concerned about the heavy traffic. The GPS was set to take us directly to KHITZ though, our destination that seemed to be only "2 miles away" for about 30 miles... During this hour sometime is where we met the loverly BRITTANY! (and her friend who i have absolutely no idea who she is because i forgot. as you can tell said friend is not a very important part in my story so moving on...)

Hour 5: Jenn, Tiff, and I are standing outside the KHITZ station with our new friends, Brittany and Tiffany with a "Y" QUICK SHOUT OUT TO MY GIRLS WHAT WHAT!!! While waiting on the gentlemen, we exchanged many thats what she said jokes, mainly from me, we learned that Brittany was a Broken Arrow Whore but was one of the only girls in her school that wasn't preggers, Tiff and I wrote a song about grits and fried okra with Brittany's broken guitar, and I taught everyone "its not rape if you yell surprise first"...

Hour #@*^&#$(@% : things began to blur right about now. The red van pulled up about 34 seconds after I hacked a gigantic ball of something out of my throat. There they were, in all their black leather glory, Mike Andy Alex and Jay.... Brittany screamed. It was awkward and I hope they didn't hear it. She teenied, and its okay it happens to the best of us... After an awkward silence, some hugging, some hand hugging, some autographing and some other things i cannot mention on here, they had to go inside. THIS is one of my favorite parts. No not because they were temporarily leaving, but because of the statement I made to Alex. After reading Jennifer's shirt, Alex said "Gent with sticks?" in a rather confused voice. At this point I took it upon myself to yell into the door way that the shirt was supposed to be perverted and he should take it that way. The expression on his face was PRICELESS!!!!! Oh how I wish Tiffany would have gotten his expression oh her camera!!! When they came back outside I made Andy tell MIKEY that Arkansas was awesome. He kinda did that by saying "yeah Arkansas is awesome I love farm animals" I dont have any farm animals Andy, but I forgive you. I was wearing boots that day and I was taller than Mike, damn my luck right? While getting a picture with Alex, he offered to take the picture since he is taller than me, VERY gentlemanly right? Yeah well soon after that he DROPPED MY CAMERA and I caught it about an inch from the ground with my PINKY! The expression he made earlier when I was a perv was back on his face again. I said "you almost had to buy me a new camera!" then he called me a ninja, told me he would have taken me to wal-mart to buy a new one (which i kinda wish i wouldn't have been so ninja like now looking back on it...) and he and Tiffani reenacted the situation, which was quite comical. Everyone else was talking to the other guys and Alex was standing off to the side all alone with no company! Tiff with an I and I went and talked to him for a while. We got "nucks" for almost being 21 and he complimented me on my ninja skills once again. It was good times.

Hour !*(@$*: I was still confused as to what time it was, since it was pouring down rain I wasn't really concerned with the time, I was more concerned with the fact that I had standing water in my boots and my once amazing black silky jacket was quickly becoming what i then thought was an ice cube. We made new friends outside the Marquee with these girls we made a giant umbrella hut with. I caught my first glance of Jenette and some girl griped us out because I was trying to help some little girl stay dry. Remind me not to help anyone out ever again. She almost, but not quite, ruined my night.

CONCERT TIME! Esmee came out and I TEENIED when she was talking about Justin Timberlake (I still think someone should have stolen her blackberry and got his number but the flailing arm girl was in my way... ) THEN THE GENTS CAME OUT! We danced, we sang, we connected, i made messages on the dry erase board that they loved, especially the one that i made that said makin out... mike enjoyed that. I had another THATS WHAT SHE SAID moment during mikes speech when he said "i like that your starting off soft thats good" (I now have that as a ringtone thanks to Tiffany for recording it!!!) And the concert was just amazing in general. :)

MEET AND GREET TIME! After my ice cube silky jacked convinced me I needed a 60 dollar jacket I got to put the m&g I got to use!!! For the M&G I put the silky ice cube back on because i thought it would look better in the picture... it was colder than I remembered it being earlier when i took it off... I walked up to Andy first and apologized for being "damp and cold" So he said "its okay we will warm you up" and was like hugging me/rubbing my back. Again i had another teenie moment. Not only was it one of the most amazing hugs ever, i truly was cold and would have wanted anyone to hug me like that and rub my back. haha. Then it was up to my main man MIKE! He was hugging me and said wow you are cold and he also rubbed my back. at this point i need a change of underwear. im kidding! or am i?? hmm you may never know.... then i get to Jay, he does the hug and rub, which is the new name I made for it just now, and Alex was like "Hey ninja! I'm sorry again about almost destroying your posessions" it was neat-o. I got my picture with them, and Mike then asked me "so when we come back to Tulsa your coming right?! and i was like umm yes of course but you guys have to come to Arkansas sometime! Mike goes "ill think about it", he winked at me, then my heart melted. After another Mike hand hug, Tiff and I talked to Alex and got him to call the hogs... he sounded very confused like someone typed a question mark at the end of his TelePrompTer like "Woo Pig Sooie??" but it was cute none the less :)

We met Esmee, took our picture with her, hurried to the car, took my shoes off, turned the heat on FULL BLAST, found a quick trip, got some rooster booster, and blasted random music the entire way home so i could stay awake on the long boring drive in the POURING RAIN. it took about 5 hours to get home since we were in flash flood warnings and tornado warnings and such the entire way home. We got home at around 3:30 and i CRASHED.

Long story short... EPIC JOURNEY....

:D

i have a million other things i could talk about but this blog is already almost a novel. its a novel of my teenie moments, but a novel...

anywho here is a picture that reminds me of the fun time i had while in Tulsa. Enjoy the Epic Mike Face.

tiffani and t pain sittin in a tree

Hello all, I'm Tiffani! Not to be confused with the other Tiffany for her name is spelled with the letter 'y' at the end and mine is unique and spelled with an 'i' For those of you who don't know, I met Tiffany && Brittany in Tulsa Okie Homie when we went to go see Honor Society for their fashionably late tour. Sam, Jenn, && I are from Arkansas and we rep it pretty well. Before I get into this Tulsa experience let me just start out by filling you in on a couple things you should know about me I am possibly one of the most funniest people you will ever meet. I'd love to toot my own horn and just say that. I speak three languages: English, Sarcasm, && Ebonics. Fluent in all three holla atcha gurl! I absolutely love rap music but only rap from the 90's unless it's Jay-Z I will always listen to Jay-Z I got my diamonds up To be quite frank with you I listen to all types of music and I think if you want to have a future in music you must appreciate ALL types of music. I'm highly perverted and I don't care. I cuss more than I should but I don't care. I break the rules and I don't care I'm going to be known for doing a lot of stuff one day just wait for it. I want my own talk show one day Chelsea Handler is my hero and Shia Labeouf is my life. bye.

Now as far as Tulsa goes I've been there many times just going through but this past time was my 2nd time to actually go and visit the first being the world tour for jB. Let me start out by saying I love Tulsa sooooo damn much but the drive there is horrid. I hate it. On a lighter note it's not that long of a drive and it's nice to get out of Kris Allen town once in a while!

The night before we left/concert day. I was running a 104 temperature I wrapped myself up in blankets and sweats until my fever broke then I grabbed me a bite to eat and I drove to meet Sam and Jenn at this lovely place called Wal-Mart! Where I heard that Push Play was number 5 on our 9:00 countdown and I was absolutely amazed because they are my work and I have to spend every waking minute promoting them and its all for the love of Steve's nipples

I got to Sam's we went and picked up betty the gps system from Keleigh then we went back to Sam's wrote on her car which got rained off. Then we went beddy bye. Sam got us up the next morning she went to school to do some shit then Jen and I sat around the house and got ready and made a mix cd! When Sam got home were then our way!! It didn't take us that long to get to Tulsa like I said the drive is short yet boring. We went to Mickey D's got some food then found our way to the KHITZ radio station to wait on the arrival of some guys that call themselves gents. In the process of waiting Sam, Jen, && I met Brittany and Blonde Tiffany. Brittany let us know in no time that she was a whore/groupie and I probably owe her money from countless times I've needed a ho in tulsa. It started raining and it was a blur really. Mikey the DJ came out and harassed us then countless cuss words later this red mini van showed up and Brittany had a teenie moment then there were gentlemen present. We had eye sex, creamed, then they were on there way up to the elevator to do their thang on the radio. They came back down we did the whole picture thing. People got cd's autographed I just wanted my damn pictures. After that Sam and I found ourselves alone with Alex chatting it up and giving knucks to each other about almost being 21 and being able to drink. Alex almost broke Sams camera. He said he would have went to wal-mart. Idda made the bitch take me to a camera store and buy me a fancy one. Alex and I then had to re-enact what had happened with Alex, Sam's Camera, && her ninja like pinky. The handler came out and said okay you guys gotta go and get to the venue for sound check.

They left it was raining we ran to Sam's car got it in found a quick trip to get the almighty ROOSTER BOOSTER bless it's name. We drank our booster got energized found The Marquee and proceeded to wait out in the pouring rain. When I say pouring I mean POURING rain. And the wind was blowing every which way so there was not a dry spot on my body.(told you i was perverted) We waited, waited, and waited. Met some funny bitches one's last name was Cackle. If you're out there cackle girl I freaking love you. The doors finally opened I was numb and couldn't feel anything my ticket was soaked but home dudes at the table didn't care and just let me go through. I told them i was going to go change and they said alright just get re stamped when you come back in. Now, I walk back to car and I look around in the hood where we were at to make sure nobody was watching. Stripped down in the middle of the street and put on my hannah montana pjs nobody believed me that I was going to go put them on but I did cause my comfort is key to my life. I came back in got my merch and m&g. Then we were bought hot chocolate from starbucks which was fantastic! But by the time I got back there to get my parties hot chocolate the dry bitches drank it all. If you are reading this and you are one of the said "dry" bitches I hate you and we can't be friends ever. EFF YOU!

We listened to Esmee False Teeth Denteres or whatever. Sam teenied when she found out her manager was Jtimb. I told her to BBM me and everyone laughed great story. I have another one.

Honor Society came out and it was magical. We rocked hard hard hard hard hard. Sam && I have tried countless times to bring a marker board into a concert and we finally did with the help of Jen's huge A purse. We wrote special messages on the board and got lots of shits and giggles out of the guys. Very nice and awesome of them to love us as much as we love us! They started rocking and it was fun you know how it goes. We danced and Michael and I connected which was nice I feel like we're brother and sister now. He just needs to send me some $$$$$ ASAP. The concert ended we met up again with Brittany who's bra was hanging out and half way un done. She is a whore so this shouldn't shock you! We wait in line for our m&g Sam goes up hugs gets all warmed up by Andy(mr. robust) and her and Michael have eye sex. Then he was so deeply concerned if we would be attending the next show in Tulsa. She said yes but that they should come to Arkansas and he said "i'll think about it" well. That's not gonna work Mike because lemme tell you Arkansas NEEDS you! Like a goof needs his ball like a cow needs it's utters. Just come to Arkansas it's where the party is really at. I get up there for my turn in the meet and greet line and Mike's hands are wide open awaiting a hug. Then Jay hugs me and places his head on my shoulder weird... Then I apologize for being freezing and say I was so cold and damp I changed into my Hannah Montana pj's and Alex just goes "omg where did you find those" I giggled and said "wal-mart??" Andy made me melt into putty as he said "I was just about to change into mine" I told him he should have it would have been legit epic. Jay goes legit and epic crazy. He danced I told him he needed to calm down andy told him the same thing and then we took our picture got Alex to call the hogs and we were on our way.

I'm not gonna sit here and tell you how insanely boring the drive back home was because it was just that insane and boring.

But you should know that I rock I rock on and Tulsa was crushed by not only Honor Society but my amazing group of friends that I made a long the way yay us! Can't wait to go rock Tulsa again Dec. 20th for Push Play and Justin Bieber.

I LOVE T PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tiffani.

"My Honor Society Concert Experience"

So I noticed in my last blog, I really just described the four amazing girls that I met in Tulsa. But I briefly only mention the "greet & meet" with Honor Society. I really wanted to take some time to write my honest opinion about "the gentlemen" themselves and the experience I had. I'm pretty sure you always hear that they're true gentlemen, but that's the sincere truth.

When I first heard that Honor Society was coming to Oklahoma for their "Fashionably Late Tour" I was dying to go because I knew it would be the concert you don't want to miss. So after I purchased my tickets I tried extremely hard to get everyone I knew to come to the concert and show these men all of our support. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful at convincing my friends because most of them are either in school or they just don't like their music.

So I told myself even if the crowd isn't that big or we don't sell out The Marquee, I was still going to have an awesome time with my brother and rock out to every song. Our original plan was to go to The Marquee and wait outside as long as possible just to meet the gents. As the weeks got closer and closer to the concert the more anxious/nervous I got. I was a tad surprise at myself for being nervous, I mean, their just four good looking men who our livin' their dream through music. So when I heard about the possibility of them going to K-Hits, I immediately mapquested from my house to K-Hits just in case. The night before the show, I couldn't sit still or go to sleep because I knew I had a big day ahead of me.

As the morning came and we were heading to Tulsa I started thinking to myself, "What happens if I can't say anything to them?", or "I trip and fall flat on my face?".

I tried to not think about it too much so I turned on my CD player and Honor Society's "Where Are You Now?" started playing. Now you all know that most of their songs are about love, but I know everyone has had a broken heart once or twice in their life. But for me, I was going through finding out who my true friends are and really just not caring about all the haters. After an 1 hour 43 minutes later, we arrived at the radio station and that's were I met Brittany, Sam, Tiffani and Jenn. It was a pretty nice day, but still alittle chilly and rainy since we had to wait outside. But about an hour past and several "that's what she said jokes" later, "the gentlemen" finally arrived!

It was funny because everyone was quiet when the gents started walking towards us. Now they couldn't stay long down stairs because they were "FASHIONABLY LATE" as usual, but they did say they would come back down and sign autographs, take pictures, etc. So we're waiting another 30 minutes and Honor Society come back down to talked to everyone and not only did they sign my CD, but I got a chance to take a picture with them as well.

Now that the hard part was done, it's off to the venue. We got to The Marquee about 5:05pm. We were told that the doors open at 6 and the show starts at 7. Knowing our luck, the doors open at 7 and the show starts a 7:30. Yep, that's right we still had another hour and a half to go before we could even get inside. Now all day, it rained off and on lightly. But mother nature had it her way and it poured down on us outside. Lucky the girls had umbrella's with them, but we were all still drench with rain. We did, however, make umbrella cities and bonded together to try to stay warm and not get wet more then we already were. Finally, the doors opened and it was show time. My brother went to get a good spot while I was buying merch. After I got our shirts, we also got meet & greet passes too. I was extremely happy that I got to meet them again, but the only down fall was that I was soaking wet from being outside.

Once, Esmee finished on stage they announced that Honor Society appreciated us fans for toughing it out in the pouring rain. They bought us Hot Chocolate from Starbucks. The entire crowd said "Awe!" Now it's 8:33pm and Honor Society hits the stage. They rocked out to every song, pointing to people in the crowd, hang hugs were a hit that night and I recorded some sick videos with the band acknowledging us, particularly, Michael...Thanks Mr. Bruno for that. About 10:35pm the concert ended, but they went to go freshen up for the "greet & meet" and when they walked out they said, "No matter if you have a meet & greet pass or not. We want to meet ALL of you."

We're waiting in line and it's my brother's (Trey) turn to take a group picture, but my camera is lame and you can't put the flash on sometimes so Andrew offered to help fix my camera. As Andy is messing with the camera, Trey was talking with Jason, Alex was in La La Land by just standing there and then Michael stepped out in front of me rockin' to a song playing over the speakers. Finally, the camera started working and Trey got his picture done. Now it was my turn, I gave all the gents hugs, but for some reason Michael's hug was the longest. NO JOKE!

We took the picture and Michael said "I saw you rocking from the stage" I replied,"Yeah, I had to represent for Oklahoma". He smiled and said, "Well, you did that and more".

So all in all I had a blast! I really wish I could relive Thursday over and over. But I know that there will be another time when I'll get to see them. Hopefully, after this blog they'll see that we all truly miss them and we wanted to show them how much we appreciate what they do for us fans. We're blessed to have a chance to share an opportunity like this.

Describing the Gentlemen of Honor Society:

Michael - Super nice, always smiling and felt bad that Trey might not be able to get a picture.

Jason - Rocked 'RayBans' on stage, very pleasant and wore a red Oklahoma tee during the meet & greet!.

Andrew - Very funny, said they always bring the awesome weather with them (sarcassicly because it was raining) and tried the fix my camera while waiting in line..

Alex - A tad quiet, rocked a 'Led Zeppelin' shirt, and didn't understand Jenn's t-shirt..

(NOTE: But ALL of them gave awesome hugs and are seriously the coolest people I ever met!).

COME BACK SOON!

Love~

Pearple Rain

In all honesty, what kind of crazy person spends 4 HOURS in the rain waiting on a boy band? I don't blame people for calling us crazy, because if I was on the outside looking in, I think I would too. But I'm not on the outside, I'm on the inside and sometimes that doesn't mean nice, warm, sun-shiny days. Sometimes that means long, cold nights in the rain. I can hear some people saying "Well aren't you pissed at the guys for not doing anything about it? Doesn't that make you hate them?" NO! If anything, it makes me love them more. If it hadn't been for the Tulsa rain, I would have never bonded with the DUH-mazing Honor Society fans outside K-HITS or The Marquee. I don't know...there's just something about sharing umbrellas with a group of girls for 2 hours that makes you appriciate the fact that music can bring us all together like that.

I mean, how can I hate someone that
  • signs my CD even though they're running late for a radio interview
  • tweets while we're standing in the rain that we're the best fans EVER!
  • goes to Starbucks and gets the best damn hot chocolate in the world to help warm us up
  • takes time out of their already busy schedule to make sure that every fan gets a meet & greet picture like this one

I will NEVER have the chance to tell the Jonas Brothers how much their music changed my life. How when I thought I was done, that life had finally beaten me, they told me to "Hold On." When I thought I was dying & the doctors didn't know what was wrong, Nick told me to just wait "A Little Bit Longer."

I had my heart seriously broken for the first time this year. I was in love with this guy who didn't love me back, or at least, that's the story he told me. I was ready to give up all my dreams to be with this guy, to make US work. Stupid idea, right? I didn't think so. When I wanted nothing more than hope that he would realize his mistakes and come back to me...that's when I found Honor Society. I bawled the first time I heard "Don't Close the Book." I was a college Freshman trying to make my way in the world, on my own for the first time. When Mike sang

"In chapter three, went off and chased the dream to get your ghost that's haunting me it was scarier to be without you but I know that in the end need some time to take a pen and write a chapter of my own"

I felt like someone finally got it. It wasn't until recently when the album stuff finally came out that I realized this guy never loved me, no matter what he said, and would probably never love me. Songs like "Full Moon Crazy", "My Own Way", and "Where Are You Now?" were major parts of my healing process.

If it weren't for those 4 gentlemen I would have never found the career path that I love. I got to tell them that Thursday night. It might have meant a lot to them to hear a fan say that "I chose my college major because of your music" but to be able to tell them that and see the looks on their faces....it meant the world to me.

I don't know if I'll ever get a chance to see the gentlemen in the same way I did last Thursday. I pray that I do and that they are as sweet and kind then as they were last week.

oh...and if...for some strange reason you gentlemen happen to read this (we're on to you Mr. Andrew Lee!) I hope you get a good laugh every now and then. If it weren't for Tulsa & you gentlemen, we would have never met & this wouldn't be happening. You guys are beyond amazing. NO DUH!

Inside My Mind!

Well, it took me some time to gather all my thoughts into one so I could tell you about my experience I had at the Honor Society Concert on October 8th in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

So let's get started, you know most people say it's always hard your first time when you......WRITE A BLOG! Now if your mind was thinking of something else maybe you should get some help. Hahaha Just kidding :)

But yes, it's true writing a blog is like learning how to drive for the first time, taking your training wheels off your bike or learning how to be the BEST perv texter on the face of the earth...Thanks Tiffani with an I!

So basically what I'm saying is that I had a wonderful time last thursday. Not only did I "greet & meet" the gents of Honor Society, but I met four amazing girls in the process.

It's funny because we're all different yet so much alike.

Brittany, who's very bubbly and goes by the name "Brittany The Groupie" as listed in DJ Mike's phone from K-Hits.

Jennifer, who hearts a gent with stix and is the "Twitter Whore"

Sam Mann, who likes it nice & slow like Michael....well that's what she said!

Tiffani, who confessed her love for T-Pain, but couldn't help falling for Mr. Robust (Andrew) in the end.

So you see, no matter where your from or how crazy/odd/different you may be. There's always someone just like you waiting in the pouring rain for a concert.

I miss you all and can't wait to tear up Tulsa in December!

Big Hugs & Lots of Love~

Sam :)

I just wanted to leave a little note to you guys!

i wanted to start my blogging out nice and slow so maybe mike bruno will like it ;)
haha anyways i cant wait to see you girls in december for push play and jb! (justin bieber sillys!)
anyways if you want to read more of my in depth blogs go to my personal. they have lots o pictures! :D

anywho miss yall and remember to always take an umbrella with you everywhere you go, you never know when you may need to make an umbrella hut with strangers. :)

The Beginning...

True dedication is
  • calling an out of state radio station just to have them help you promote a band
  • driving for hours just to see this band play in another state
  • getting lost in an unfamiliar city trying to find the radio station you called the night before
  • spending 2 hours in the rain waiting for the band to show up at the radio station
  • waiting ANOTHER hour while the band does the radio interview
  • spending 2o minutes talking to the band & finding out they really are gentlemen
  • getting lost in the city AGAIN while driving in the POURING rain to the venue
  • making umbrella cities with complete strangers while standing outside the venue
  • getting SOAKED because the venue won't let you in out of the rain for 2 hours!!!
  • buying more merch than you wanted because you're freezing cold
  • rocking out even though your socks are wet & your freezing cold...it was totally worth it though
If it weren't for all those things the 5 of us would have never met. I love that we all instantly clicked and that we're already planning our next big adventure. Mother Nature can't keep us from the boys we love & our music. I can't wait to see all of you in December for Push Play & Justin Bieber. OH! and what's this I hear about Emily Osment joining the tour in November and staying though December?! I sense some MAJOR stalking going down in Tulsa!
